Here in the Logistyx Marketing & Communications Department, we understand that our success requires a team of big thinkers, creators, and yes – grammar hounds, and we’re always looking for brilliant, passionate people with a “get it done” mentality to help us reach the next level. We know our people are our strongest asset, so we’ve created a pleasant team environment where everyone plays to their strengths, takes their favorite piece of the MarCom pie, so to speak, and works together to achieve our lead gen goals, promote our Subject Matter Experts’ thought leadership, and make some noise (the good kind).  Bonus: we have families, pets, hobbies, and more, and our small team of ninjas navigates the busiest of marketing calendars while still maintaining a flexible work/life balance.  There’s an extra seat at the cool kids’ table for a Content Manager – come join us and apply today!

What You’ll Do

Filling a new position, the Content Manager will plan and execute a content strategy that is not only engaging but also in line with our brand’s image and objectives.  Though we assume you’ll be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining content to grow our audience, drive demand generation, build relationships, and monitor web traffic and social media metrics to identify best practices, this role is new to Logistyx, which means you can make it your own and do what you feel necessary to achieve your objectives.

Our ideal candidate will have an audience-first mindset with demonstrable creative writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively to a range of B2B personas.  Being a stickler for brand voice and consistency and a fierce defender of the Oxford comma will also help you gain favor and fame in our department!

Responsibilities:

  • Create content, including site (i.e., blog posts) and premium asset (i.e., e-book) to drive demand and lead generation and engagement across marketing channels and platforms.
  • Create a content marketing calendar to ensure regular content is utilized across marketing channels throughout the year to drive measurable engagement and conversions and keep all content contributors on schedule.
  • Oversee social media, creating and repurposing content for use across different social media channels.
  • Ensure all online copy is entertaining, informative, search engine optimized, and appealing to appropriate personas.
  • Work with Senior Digital Marketing Manager, using Hubspot and web analytics to analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics to optimize content for both search engine visibility and favorable user experience.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and monitor content activities of our competitors.
  • Get as much mileage as possible out of all premium content assets as well as event content and repurpose it on the right mediums.
  • Recruit internal and third-party writers.
  • Manage editing and proofing of guest written content.
  • Ensure brand consistency.
  • Ensure all data and work is legally compliant (e.g., copyright protection).
  • Remain current on product and industry developments and generate new ideas to draw audience attention.

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a content marketer.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, marketing, journalism, or related field.
  • Highly articulate with an excellent command of written English.
  • Creative minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content.
