Logistyx Technologies Named To 2021 Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies Learn More

Logistyx Technologies Makes 2021 Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies

Logistyx Technologies was recently ranked No. 2732 on the annual Inc. 5000 list, which represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment – its independent small and midsized businesses. This prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies has previously included such well-known companies as Microsoft, Patagonia, Under Armour and Zappos.

Logistyx is thrilled to make its inaugural appearance on the Inc. 5000 list after the uncertainty faced by so many over the past 18 months. As Logistyx CEO Geoffrey Finlay expressed, “This recognition is a well-deserved testament to the entire Logistyx team, and the incredible growth and innovation exemplified since opening our doors in 2017 and especially throughout the last year – an absolute triumph of resilience given the challenges faced, both within the industry and the world at large.”

Logistyx makes Inc. 5000

With 1,500 years of combined experience and more than 800 global customers, Logistyx boasts a proud history of innovation driven by people passionate about leveraging technology and teamwork to simplify the complexity of multi-carrier parcel shipping. Unlike many of the other businesses on the Inc 5000 list, Logistyx was not a true startup when it first formed in 2017. It came together by combining and building on the established and complementary successes of three dominant transportation management companies (Advanced Distribution Solutions, Inc. [ADSI], Agile Network and Pantechnik International). Each previously led a sector of the parcel shipping business, and together, they already processed over two billion annual parcels and maintained carrier relationships to offer more than 5,000 carrier services.

Since those first days, Logistyx has expanded its technology and cultivated its team to grow into a global leader in strategic parcel shipping and fulfillment technology dedicated to transforming the parcel delivery lifecycle. Many of the world’s top retailers, manufacturers, and logistics providers turn to Logistyx to help them ship smarter and better serve customers with an unmatched global network of 550+ carrier integrations, Business Intelligence, and 360-degree omnichannel fulfillment and visibility.

We owe this honor to our hard-working team members and valued clients and partners, without whom we could not have achieved this level of innovation, success, and continued growth. Thank you!

Logistyx Recognized as One of Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s 2021 Top Supply Chain Projects

Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain, selected Logistyx Technologies as a recipient of the Top Supply Chain Projects Award for 2021.

The Top Supply Chain Projects (formerly known as SDCE 100) spotlights successful and innovative transformation projects that deliver bottom-line value to small, medium, and large enterprises across a range of supply chain functions. These projects show how supply chain solution and service providers help their customers and clients achieve supply chain excellence and prepare their supply chains for success.

Logistyx was honored for its collaborative work with its client, a top international pharmaceutical company that took the lead on COVID-19 vaccine development and distribution. As the pandemic swept the globe in 2020, our client worked tirelessly to fulfill vaccine shipment orders worldwide from several sites within the United States and parts of Europe. Since the early days of the pandemic, the pharma company invested in the infrastructure necessary to distribute its vaccine safely and securely.

To meet the complex shipping requirements of the life-saving vaccine shipments, the pharma company turned to its partner, Logistyx Technologies. Logistyx expanded the pharma company’s shipping capabilities to incorporate shipping directly from manufacturing locations in the U.S. and Europe. Data produced by Logistyx was automatically fed to the carriers to aid in carrier-provided customs clearance and accelerate the international shipping process.

By mid-December 2020, the pharma company shipped 2.9 million doses of its COVID-19 vaccine to locations specified by the U.S. government around the country, with that number climbing both nationally and internationally well into the first half of 2021.

Webinar - How to Drive your Carrier Network to Success

The pharma company was able to fulfill vaccine orders worldwide at the fastest parcel delivery speeds possible from locations in the U.S. and Europe, all while:

  • Incorporating a high degree of data visibility
  • Providing a streamlined return process for their custom shippers
  • Managing the complex requirements of customs agencies in every country
  • Committing to timely data feeds to each of the carriers for tracking and customs clearance
  • Successfully leveraging both existing and new solutions to meet the overall goal of worldwide vaccine distribution on the strict timeline necessary to coincide with Emergency Use Authorizations

“The supply chain industry has been challenged with a host of supply chain disruptions over the last year. Yet, the winners on this list continued to re-tool and innovate,” says Marina Mayer, editor for Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics. “Whether it be moving a customer to a cloud-based solution or implementing a more sustainable shipping option, these top supply chain projects reflect the supply chain industry’s strength and resilience to overcome disruptions and work better, smarter, and more efficiently in the years ahead.”

Two Logistyx Execs Named 2021 Pros to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive

Logistyx Technologies President Ken Fleming and Chief Operating Officer Dipti Gupta have each been named a 2021 Pro to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive. This marks the third year in a row that Fleming has been recognized with this honor.

Ken and Dipti have been instrumental in helping Logistyx clients proactively remodel their supply chains around e-commerce, accelerated by the explosive growth in online shopping. Empowering shippers to leverage Logistyx’s cloud technology to tap into carriers and supply chain data has enhanced productivity, improved customer service, and decreased transportation spend in a time when organizations seek to optimize their parcel shipping operations to stay competitive.

As the events of 2020 spurred unprecedented supply chain disruptions, Ken and Dipti’s leadership spearheaded the efforts of the full Logistyx team to:

  • Complete more than 100 enterprise-caliber sales
  • Help clients scale operations to efficiently ship as many as 300,000 parcels/day from a single distribution center, choosing the best carrier service for each parcel based on cost, delivery deadline, and carrier service reliability
  • Assist clients in migrating their shipping operations to the cloud to improve agility to fulfill orders in this unique landscape
  • Extend the intelligent parcel management operations of many clients to minimize the rising costs and disruptions associated with a growing volume of e-commerce returns
  • Help clients enable ship-from-store capabilities as in-store shopping paused and e-commerce fulfillment demands soared
  • Scale clients’ operations to ship more parcels to meet growing demand since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, by as much as 100% for some

The Pros to Know list recognizes outstanding executives whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders looking to leverage supply chains for a competitive advantage. This year’s list includes individuals and teams from software and service providers, consultancies and academia, trucking and transportation firms, professional development agencies, sourcing and procurement divisions, and more, all of whom have helped supply chain clients and the supply chain community at large prepare to meet many of today’s – and tomorrow’s – challenges.

Logistyx Technologies Shortlisted for 2020 SaaS Awards

Logistyx was recently named a finalist in the 2020 Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Awards program in the “Best SaaS for Shipping, Inventory or Vehicle Logistics” category. Now in its fifth year, the international SaaS Awards program focuses on recognizing excellence and innovation in software solutions.

Head of operations for the SaaS Awards, James Williams, said: “Software-as-a-service’s force for positive disruption never seems to abate, with seemingly unending solutions for modern business. This year is of course a special case, with SaaS not only at the forefront of remodeling existing business processes, but also agilely responding with pioneering solutions to unavoidable global disruptions. Indeed, SaaS technologies are now celebrated as providing new and inventive ways for organizations to perform what might have once seemed simple tasks in a changing international landscape. From fulfilling orders to arranging meetings, SaaS technologies are more important than ever.”

ebook logistyx future-proofing-supply-chainWhen inevitable supply chain disruptions (such as the COVID-19 outbreak) occur, Logistyx TME, a SaaS-based transportation management solution for global parcel shipping, is a lifeline to shippers and logistics service providers seeking to rapidly increase their available shipping options. A cloud TMS for parcel shipping provides shippers and logistics service providers the ability to quickly onboard, leverage, and optimize multiple carrier services – critical functionality when suddenly pivoting to a ship-from-store model, for example, or when pulling local courier services into the transportation mix to maintain on-time delivery rates. Furthermore, it can provide the data and analytics necessary to understand where logistics performance is sub-par and uncover opportunities to increase performance and savings.

Logistyx TME adds value to a supply chain in several ways. It automatically selects the right carrier service for each order according to carrier contracts and business rules; creates or acquires the tracking, labels, and documents; monitors delivery events and automates event exception workflows; manages the manifest and end-of-day processes; and analyzes carrier performance.

Utilizing Logistyx TME increases agility and transcends supply chain boundaries, especially during current and future supply chain disruptions, providing an additional return on investment.

All these capabilities combined create an innovative, all-in-one SaaS-based TMS that help customers consistently achieve on-time delivery at the optimal cost, which helped contribute to Logistyx’s recent honor on the 2020 SaaS Awards shortlist.

The final category winners for the 2020 SaaS Awards will be announced August 25. To learn more about this awards program and view the full shortlist, please visit: https://www.cloud-awards.com/2020-software-awards-shortlist/.

Logistyx Recognized as Representative Vendor by Gartner

Logistyx Technologies was recognized for the second time by Gartner in the 2019 Market Guide for Multicarrier Parcel Management Solutions (Gartner subscription required). We believe this serves as a validation of our SaaS-based Transportation Management System (TMS) for parcel shipping and our highly valued global carrier services network and Business Intelligence capabilities.

According to the report, “although multicarrier parcel management is mature in some retail and distribution environments, many companies have large parcel operations in other areas of their businesses, or they are not traditional shippers but have a large parcel shipping need.”

In addition, “parcel and last-minute delivery continue to be the fastest-growing shipment segments due to increases in multichannel retail, e-commerce in B2B, and same-day delivery offerings.” Further, “most companies today operate in reactive execution mode for parcel and are missing great opportunities to optimize and consolidate their parcel shipping as well as shop for more varied rates and/or services.”

Translation: the debut of our innovative TMS for parcel shipping, TME, is intersecting with a significant need in the marketplace.

get the checklist: choose the right tms for parcel shippingWith Logistyx TME, shippers  leverage a SaaS-based solution to achieve on-time delivery while significantly reducing transportation costs.  Our expertise includes 550 carrier service configurations, thereby equipping Logistyx customers to leverage rate shopping and simulation tools across their contracted carrier network – no matter how vast or global in nature – to determine the ideal combination of carrier services in real time, based on factors such as price, capacity, service requirements, and performance.  Control tower visibility and dashboard reporting enable proactive delivery event management and carrier performance monitoring, and advanced freight audit capabilities allow companies to verify invoice accuracy before issuing payment and find potential savings.

Logistyx customers report an average 25% savings on parcel shipping spend while successfully meeting delivery commitments, and time to value on the parcel shipping system itself is often six months or less.

Supply Chain Brief Honors Brexit Analysis from Logistyx President Ken Fleming

The votes have been counted, and the readers of Supply Chain Brief have spoken.

Ken Fleming’s October 17 column for Logistics Viewpoints, “Brexit’s Profound Impact on Cross-Border Shipping,” has been voted the top industry blog post of 2019 and named the 2019 Supply Chain Brief MVP Winner as the Most Valuable Post in the Transport/Freight category.

Certificate_KenFleming_2019 Supply Chain Brief MVP Brexit

“Brexit is likely to hammer unprepared supply chain and logistics professionals and the customers expecting to receive their deliveries, but I’m encouraged that Supply Chain Brief readers echoed the importance of this monumental event and the impact it’s likely to have on global shipping, especially in and around the U.K. and Europe,” said Ken. “With several postponements, shippers still have an opportunity to prepare for the changes and ensure their parcel shipments stay compliant, on-time and under-budget. Our TMS for parcels will make the process seamless for Logistyx clients.”

By rapidly incorporating all regulatory and resulting carrier changes, Logistyx customers will stay compliant to avoid delays and fees. Keeping clients compliant with these type of changes is nothing new for Logistyx; it’s one of the company’s biggest benefits and why the industry’s top warehouse management systems and 92 of Internet Retailer’s Top 1000 choose our TMS for parcel. Brexit, however, stands to be one of the most impactful logistics hurdles of modern time. Country codes will change and trigger a wave of other changes. Export volume will skyrocket for many shippers. Currencies may fluctuate. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
